25.09.2026

Dmg events has appointed Agop Niksarlioglu as Chief Technology Officer, further strengthening its technology, data and digitization capabilities as the company continues to invest in digital innovation across its growing international events portfolio.

With digital adoption already embedded across the business, Niksarlioglu will lead the company’s technology, data and digitization agenda, further developing capabilities that support its operations, customers and event communities.

Niksarlioglu brings more than 20 years of international experience, including over a decade across exhibitions, conferences, business media and digital event communities. Prior to joining dmg events, he held senior technology and transformation roles at Hyve Group, formerly ITE Group, Searchlight Consulting and London Metropolitan University.

His experience spans enterprise architecture, CRM, data, AI and cloud technologies, as well as large-scale technology programmes, acquisitions, carve-outs and integrations across multiple international markets.

Geoff Dickinson, CEO, dmg events, said: “Technology is already deeply embedded in how we operate and deliver value to our customers. Agop brings exceptional industry knowledge alongside extensive technology and transformation experience, and his leadership will help us continue building on the strong digital capabilities we have established.”

Niksarlioglu said: “dmg events has a strong foundation in digital adoption and an ambitious growth agenda. I look forward to building on that foundation and bringing together technology, data and AI to create measurable value for the business and our customers.”
