From 19 to 21 August, the 10th Expo Project Fair for International Cooperation (Nanjing)2020 (EPFIC 2020) was successfully held in Nanjing Air-hub International Expo Center. The theme of this event was "ten years of dream building, rise in water". It was co-organized by the People's Government of Lishui District of Nanjing City, China International Conference and Exhibition Magazine Agency. The event made great breakthrough and remarkable achievements in the aspects of the number of participants and trade effect.

According to statistics, the total number of EPFIC
2020 participants reached a new level compared with last year and welcomed 1300
people, including nearly 300 trade visitors (mobile exhibition organizers)
invited by the Organizing Committee. During the 3-day event, a total of 20
parallel activities were held, and 7 sought-after annual reports of the
exhibition industry were released. After 10 years of accumulation, EPFIC has gained
high popularity and reputation at home and abroad, attracting many exhibition
bureaus, exhibition associations and exhibition enterprises from across the
country to participate. Nanjing, Changsha, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Yiwu, and other
exhibition cities participated as groups, demonstrating the brand attraction
and outstanding industry appeal of EPFIC.
High-quality speeches at the opening
ceremony
Chu Xiangyin, executive vice president of China Convention and Exhibition Society, was invited to moderate the opening ceremony. Zhang Decai, vice governor of Lishui District People's Government of Nanjing City, and Zhao Wei, president of New Expo International Media Co., Ltd., delivered opening speeches. During the opening ceremony, the greeting videos from foreign exhibition industry representatives were also shown to all attendees. Due to the limitation caused by the epidemic, many foreign guests could not come to the 10th EPFIC in person, but some international guests such as Mary Larkin, president of UFI; Marco Spinger, international marketing director of AUMA; Aloysius Arlando, president of AIPC, and others also sent videos to express their opinions and suggestions on the International Convention and exhibition situation. At the same time, they also congratulated the 10th birthday of EPFIC.
Ms. Zhang Dongyun of China Foreign Trade Center, on behalf of Xu Bing, vice president of China Foreign Trade Center (Group), delivered a keynote speech on "Daring to take the lead in leading the innovation and development of China's exhibition industry". Wu Zhijian, director of the Convention and Exhibition Office of Lishui District People's Government of Nanjing; David Dubois, president and CEO of IAEE; Song Kexin, vice president of Tencent Cloud Exhibition, and Wan Tao, CEO of the 31 conference, delivered keynote speeches, covering topics such as the crisis and opportunities of the exhibition industry, smart exhibition reform after the epidemic, and online exhibition under the new normal. EPFIC 2020 was strongly supported by many leaders in the exhibition industry, the they shared on hot industry topics through forum speeches, keynote speeches or dialogues, providing industry colleagues with insight into the future.
City leaders explore the new development pattern of exhibition cities
In an important seminar of EPFIC 2020 - "High end forum for leading exhibition cities", with the theme of "protecting and stabilizing the exhibition economy", 38 government exhibition bureaus from 24 cities were invited to attend the symposium. The leaders of the cities generally believed that although the industry suffered a major blow due to the epidemic situation, all cities should fully support the resumption of the exhibition and the meeting. Under the new normal of the epidemic situation, all cities will orderly carry out and strengthen the guidance of the exhibition industry, learn from each other's experiences, share information, take active action, actively respond to the call of the Central Government, make joined efforts to boost market confidence and empower the industry. Following the fine traditions of previous years, EPFIC 2020 also featured several parallel forums to help participants to discuss industry trends.
