prime minister, Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) is set to welcome the highly
anticipated trio of Informa Markets events.
The CEO of the
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and chairman of EWB, HE Sara
Ahmed Buhiji, noted that holding various events and exhibitions at EWB affirms
the commitment to enhance the Kingdom's position as a destination for hosting
major international events, conferences, and exhibitions, which enhances the
role of EWB in sustaining the growth of business tourism and proves the
Kingdom's readiness to provide exceptional experiences for all participants.
For his part the
general manager of Informa Markets Bahrain, Mohammed Ebrahim added: “These
three events continue to build on the Kingdom’s momentum in establishing itself
as a leading hub for hosting major international events. These three
exhibitions benefit greatly from the unlimited support of the EWB team and the
support of the Ministry of Tourism and the BTEA which enables us to achieve
remarkable success stories every year.”

Since
2022, Jewellery Arabia in particular has seen significant growth year-on-year,
due to the venue’s large capacity, state-of-the-art facilities, and additional
services that cater to all aspects of event operations and management.
Similarly, in the same year, Scent Arabia, and Cityscape Bahrain both launched
their first editions and have seen significant growth in terms of number of
visitors, expansion of event space, increased number of exhibitors, sponsors and
activities. The three events have evolved into a major regional attraction,
with Jewellery Arabia doubling its size and scope for the first time since its
first edition in 1992.
Last
year Jewellery Arabia and Scent Arabia achieved the highest foot traffic and
sales records, with 51 percent and 35 percent increases respectively. While
Cityscape Bahrain scored an unprecedented 140 percent increase in sales. Last
year, the three events saw an impressive turnout of over 105,000 attendees,
anticipating an increase in visitor numbers this year given the enhanced space
and services provided.
