The decision was made at the board meeting during the UFI European Conference in Verona (Italy). It becomes effective at the conclusion of the 85th UFI Global Congress, which runs from 31 October to 3 November 2018 in St. Petersburg.
From May 15 till May 17, 2018, a key exhibition event in the field of event industry and incentive tourism, Imex 2018, where market professionals from 150 countries take part on an annual basis, will be held in Frankfurt. Bangalore International Exhibition Centre’s newly constructed Hall 4 was conferred with a ‘Gold’ rating by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) under its ‘New Building’ rating system. On August 1, the BRICS Trade Ministers’ meeting 2017 opened in Shanghai. The Chairman of this meeting and Minister of Commerce Zhong Shan presided over the conference and delivered an opening speech. The Minister of Economic Development of Russia Oreshkin, the Minister of Commerce and Industry of India Nirmala Sitharaman, the Minister of Industry and Trade of South Africa Davis and the Vice Minister of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services Marcelo Maia attended the conference.
The award ceremony took place on 23 January 2016 at India Expo Mart in Noida.
The association IMTMA won the best award for its flagship Imtex in the
categories of Top Exhibitor Value, Top Global Dominance and the first runner-up
in the Royal Show category. IMTMA’s
latest exhibition – the first edition of Delhi Machine Tool Expo bagged the top
prize in the Top New Show category. Additionally, Bangalore International
Exhibition Centre (BIEC), an entity fully owned and managed by IMTMA, was
conferred Excellence in Services award.
