The UFI Asia-Pacific Conference 2026 has successfully concluded at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), reinforcing Bangkok’s growing reputation as a leading destination for international MICE events.
Held on 5-6 March in the heart of Bangkok, the conference brought together over 260 industry leaders from across the region. Hosted by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, the event served as a key platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and forward-looking industry dialogue.
Why QSNCC Was Chosen
Explaining the decision behind selecting the venue, Mark
Cochrane, UFI Regional Director Asia-Pacific, shared that QSNCC stood out a
s a
natural choice. As one of Thailand’s leading venues, it had already
generated
strong interest among UFI members – particularly following its recent reopening
and refurbishment.

“It is a beautifully designed
world-class venue.”
“QSNCC is one of the leading venues in Thailand, and many of our members were excited to see the venue after its recent reopening and refurbishment. The venue did not disappoint. It is a beautifully designed world-class venue.”
With expectations running high among international delegates, the venue ultimately delivered on all fronts – combining thoughtful design, modern infrastructure, and a seamless event experience that reinforced its world-class positioning.
A Strong Partnership Behind the Success
Beyond the venue itself, the collaboration between UFI and QSNCC played a critical role in the event’s success. Mark Cochrane highlighted the professionalism and strong partnership that underpinned the entire process:
“The team at QSNCC are top-notch professionals. From the beginning, they immediately understood our vision and goals for this conference and helped us achieve them.”

Exceptional Feedback from Delegates
The success of the conference was reflected in the overwhelmingly positive feedback from both UFI and participants, wit h every detail contributing to a memorable and well-rounded experience.
"Everyone was impressed."
“The conference was a complete success. Everyone – from the
delegates to the entire UFI team – was impressed with every aspect of the
event, including the venue, the
stage design, the visuals, the food and beverage, as well as Thailand’s
world-famous warm hospitality,” says Cochrane.
Reinforcing Thailand’s Position on the Global Stage
The successful hosting of the UFI Asia-Pacific Conference at QSNCC underscores Thailand’s continued strength in the global MICE industry.
