26.08.2026

Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) is set to welcome the highly anticipated 93rd UFI Global Congress, taking place from 2-5 November 2026 at EWB.

Hosted by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain, it marks as significant milestone, reflecting the Kingdom’s growing position on the global business events map and further strengthening its reputation as a leading destination for major exhibitions and international conferences.

On this occasion, Sara Ahmed Buhiji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and chairperson of Exhibition World Bahrain, stated: “Hosting the UFI Global Congress for the first time is a defining moment for Bahrain and a reflection of the Kingdom’s growing position within the global business events industry. We look forward to welcoming our international colleagues to experience the world-class congress alongside Bahrain’s renowned hospitality, strategic location, rich cultural heritage, and ambitious vision for the future of exhibitions and business tourism.”

Buhiji added: “The UFI Global Congress provides an invaluable platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and building meaningful international partnerships. We encourage exhibition professionals from across the world to join us this November and be part of a landmark edition that will showcase the impressive opportunities emerging across Bahrain and the wider Gulf region.”

Recognised as the premier international meeting for the global exhibitions industry, the UFI Global Congress brings together hundreds of CEOs, venue operators, organisers, association leaders, government representatives, and industry innovators from around the world to discuss the future of exhibitions, business events, and international collaboration.

Hosting the Congress in Bahrain reflects the Kingdom’s rapid emergence as one of the Middle East’s leading business events destinations and provides delegates with a unique opportunity to experience a market that continues to invest in innovation, connectivity, sustainability, and world-class event infrastructure.

Beyond the programme, delegates will benefit from unparalleled networking opportunities with senior decision makers, exclusive industry insights, thought-provoking keynote sessions, and first-hand exposure to one of the region’s newest and most advanced exhibition and convention centres. The event also offers a gateway to the wider Gulf region, enabling international participants to build new partnerships and explore one of the fastest growing markets globally.

The congress will feature a comprehensive programme of strategic discussions, international keynote speakers, leadership forums, business networking opportunities, technical visits, and innovations shaping the future of the global exhibition industry.

Registration remains open for industry professionals and stakeholders in the business events, meetings, conferences, and exhibitions sectors, including registered members of the global association of the exhibition industry (UFI), the International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC), the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), and the Society of Independent Show Organisers (SISO).
