IELA invites all event professionals to join the "Together Strong" initiative!

COVID-19 presents business events and the exhibition industry with an unprecedented global challenge. IELA passionately believes in the considerable social and economic power of the face-to-face exhibition and event industry and is committed to it. We know that the negative long-term effects of speculation, hype and overreaction will not only harm our industry, but also our local communities and business as a whole.

Let us be your Association also in uncertain times. How are you experiencing the situation, how can we support you?
With the IELA Congress and Partnering Event in Cape Town, which is to take place at the end of June (16 weeks away), the IELA team continues to plan the events with confidence. We currently have no plans to postpone or cancel our events.

The situation we are facing requires a day-to-day review, but our purpose and focus remain the one: Delivering the most important event for the global exhibitions logistics community taking care very seriously the health and safety our delegates. IELA is a truly global community. We are problem solvers, we foster business in over thousands vertical industries all over the world. As an association and event organiser, given our duty of care, we carefully review the advice of experts from WHO and other health organizations on the appropriate hygiene, health and other measures, and can assure our industry that all appropriate measures are taken at the events.

The IELA 2020 Congress & Partnering Event will stand for the best possible health protection in order to secure the internationally valued function of bringing together all key players of the Exhibition & Event Logistic Industry from all over the world to one place: Cape Town. We are Your Association. We are in constantly contact with members and partners around the world. How can the network be your strength in times of resilience?

Our industry has dealt with challenges in the past. Together, we will weather this, too.
