Russia will be represented for the first time at IBTM World by the Collective Stand: Russia Open To The World, organized by the Russian Convention Bureau Association together with the Russian Export Center. The purpose of organizing the Russian Collective Stand is to promote the regions of Russia on the foreign market, to attract new congress and exhibition events to the country and to create a national brand of Russia as a favorable place for any level of difficulty events.
“According to official expert estimates, Russia's share in the global market of international business events is less than 1%”, says Alexey Kalachev, the head of the Russian Convention Bureau. "This is a huge event-potential that must be developed and brought into line with European requirements. Participating in the Russian Collective Stand at IBTM World 2017 Russian regions will be able to present their infrastructure opportunities and attract business events of international organizers."
