    UFI’s World Map of Exhibition Venues

    Available exhibition space is one of the main drivers of the development of the exhibition industry, and venue space continues to grow in most regions of the world. Following the release of preliminary data last month, UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, released today its full report on the World Map of Exhibition Venues. In addition to analysing indicators on key regional trends, it lists the largest venues for all 28 markets whose total capacity exceeds 200,000 sqm of gross indoor exhibition space.

    Russia will be represented for the first time at IBTM World by the Collective Stand: Russia Open To The World, organized by the Russian Convention Bureau Association together with the Russian Export Center. The purpose of organizing the Russian Collective Stand is to promote the regions of Russia on the foreign market, to attract new congress and exhibition events to the country and to create a national brand of Russia as a favorable place for any level of difficulty events.

    BIEC- Hall 4 conferred with Gold Rating by IGBC

    Bangalore International Exhibition Centre’s newly constructed Hall 4 was conferred with a ‘Gold’ rating by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) under its ‘New Building’ rating system. The prestigious award instituted by IGBC was presented to Director General and CEO, BIEC, V. Anbu, on 5th October 2017 at an award function during the Green Building Congress 2017 held at Hotel Clarks Amer in Jaipur.
