German trade fair companies will again be working intensively on their digital offerings in the coming year. Examples from Cologne and Essen illustrate this.
The UFI Global Congress will be coming to Saint Petersburg from 31 October to 3 November. The motto of the 85th edition is “The Dynamics of Transition - Our Industry’s Complex Future”.
While the decade from 1998 to 2008 was one of new beginnings in the global trade fair industry, the years that followed brought setbacks. The environment became more challenging between 2008 and 2018.

From 1 to 4 November UFI will stage its 84th Global Congress in Johannesburg. The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry and local host Expo Centre are expecting around 400 delegates.
Together with Ungerboeck Software, the Dutch trade fair company RAI Amsterdam has set up an online service platform for its exhibitors.

The MICE industry is converging on Barcelona again from 29 November to 1 December. Over 9,000 visitors can look forward to a comprehensive programme of events as well as all the destinations’ stands.
